Bio
Born in Switzerland, Celine van Till is an incredible 24-year-old who has encountered numerous challenges throughout her everyday and athletic career.
Celine found her passion for horseback riding at the age of 6. The young athlete began competing upon turning 12, leading to her feature in the National Framework Junior just a few short years after owning her first horse.
In 2008, Celine suffered from a severe riding accident. Thrown and nearly trampled to death by her own horse, the athlete was trapped in a coma for a month. The accident left Celine paralyzed on one side of her body with impaired cognitive abilities. Losing her ability to read, write, and speak, she had to relearn how to live. Celine lost 45% of her vision, and was only able to see in 2-D. An injury like this is a devastating and career ending to a Professional Dressage Rider.
But not Celine. Her fight was not over. Her spirit is a fighter and she would prove to be resilient as ever. The rising star battled to come out even stronger. She regained her cognitive abilities and won Miss Handicap 2012. “Pas à Pas” an inspiring autobiography about her life experiences, tragedies and triumphs was published.
Motivation and desire helped push Miss Handicap back onto a horse again. Riding, bodybuilding, skiing, rehabilitation pole dancing, and studying for her Marketing/Management Bachelor’s degree remains her every day passions. Celine has also been a member of the Swiss Paralympic Team since 2010.
Despite her life challenges, Celine has come out on top. At 24, she has experienced more than most will encounter in their entire life. YOR Health products have helped advance her training and rehabilitation, and she is ecstatic at the energy and strength she has gained. Celine is even planning to compete in the European Championships in Deauville (France) in September 2015 and the Paralympic Games of Rio de Janeiro 2016. The YOR Health product line has become essential to her every day training regimen.
