Bio
Tamara Jordan is no stranger to fitness. She began dancing at age eight and joined the varsity wrestling team in high school.
After achieving her BA degree in Psychology at CSULB, she trained incredibly hard for an entire year and ended up coming in nearly last place at her first show, the LA Championships. Even though she felt discouraged at times, she kept fighting to pursue her goals and worked her way to the top, placing higher and higher at almost every event. She says one of the best days of her life was when she placed second and was given the title of “Pro” in Bikini, Class D at the USA: IFBB Pro Qualifier in July 2013.
After placing second at the USA: IFBB Pro Qualifier, Tamara joined TeamEdge, a NPC/IFBB fitness competition team, and considers this group’s guidance and support as key factors in taking her through her “Pro” shows in the IFBB.
As someone who has experienced negativity and a lack of support at times from family, friends, and others in the industry, Tamara’s goal is to be an inspiration to people who have been told “no.” She encourages everyone to overcome negativity by rising to challenges and never giving up. By being true to herself and her passions, she has been able to accomplish things many people told her she couldn’t. Tamara continuously promotes the value of being the best you can be, following your heart, and dreaming BIG.
