Bio
Gabriel Soto began his career at an early age as a model. His career took off after becoming the first runner-up in Mister World 1996 in Istanbul, Turkey.
In 1997, he launched his musical career with the band Kairo. His musical talents were featured on the albums: “Libres” and “Pasiones.”
He has had numerous lead roles in major soap operas captivating the Mexican and Latin-American audience.
Among his first soap operas are: “Mi Querida Isabel,” “Alma Rebelde,” “Mi Destino Eres Tú,” “Carita de Ángel,” and “Amigas y Rivales,” all from the producer Emilio Larrosa.
Other popular soap operas include: “Las Vías del Amor,” “Mujer de Madera,” “La Verdad Oculta,” and “Bajo las Riendas del Amor,” which was an adaptation of “Cuando Llega el Amor.”
He too was on the show “Dancing with the Stars Mexico,” followed by other successful roles in soap operas of great international success, including “Querida Enemiga” and “Sortilegio.”
In 2010, he took part in the play “El Sortilegio” in the United States, a show based on the soap opera.
In 2011, he played Camilo Galván in the soup opera “La Fuerza del Destino,” which was produced by Rosy Ocampo, directed by David Zepeda and Sandra Echeverría, and costarred Laisha Wilkins and Juan Ferrara.
In 2012, he starred as Rodrigo Torreslanda in the successful soap opera from Televisa and Univision, “Un Refugio Para El Amor” with Zuria Vega.
In 2013, along with Gloria Trevi, Gabriel Soto had a leading role in the soap opera from Emilio Larrosa, “Libre para Amarte.”
At the end of the year, along Aracely Arámbula and Jessica Coach, he went on national tour with the play “Por qué los Hombres Aman a las Cabronas.”
In 2014, he had a special role in the soap opera “Qué Pobres Tan Ricos.”
In the same year, producer Giselle Gonzales invited him to star in the soap opera “Yo No Creo En Los Hombres” along Adriana Louvier. The melodrama was released at the beginning of September 2014 and was extended to March 2015. It was critically acclaimed and its’ soaring ratings took the soap opera to multiple countries. It was aired on Univision’s primetime.
2015 was full of sports activities for Gabriel as he continues to support new boxing talents and to live his passion for MMA.
As of recent, he has reunited with the cast from the play “Por qué los Hombres Aman a las Cabronas” for an extended tour in the U.S. and Mexico.
Throughout his career Gabriel has starred in 25 soap operas which have been broadcasted all over the world. Among his success, the “jack of all trades” has also taken part in theater plays, sports, and other mechanical passions.
